We are seeking a reliable and proactive Driver/Messenger to enhance our Operations team. You will ensure the safe and efficient transportation of personnel, documents, and materials, which are crucial to the daily operations of our company. Your role involves detailed management of vehicle logistics, strict adherence to traffic laws, and professional interactions with clients and team members.
Core Responsibilities
- Transportation and Delivery: Safely transport documents and packages, ensuring timely delivery and adherence to delivery routes for maximum efficiency. Clarify and confirm delivery schedules before each shift.
- Documentation and Reporting: Maintain accurate logs of all deliveries and transactions, including receipts and transmittal copies. Assist in the preparation of official receipts and service invoices. Ensure proper documentation for liquidation and project reporting.
- Errand Management: Run general errands including, but not limited to, bill payments, bank transactions, and collection activities. Fetch, check, and sign parcels at collection points.
- Administrative Support: Provide logistical and administrative support to the company, perform clerical work such as filing documents, and operate office equipment.
- Vehicle Maintenance: Conduct pre-trip vehicle inspections, perform basic maintenance tasks, and coordinate with management for necessary repairs. Always keep the vehicle clean and presentable.
- Safety and Compliance: Adhere to all safety regulations and company policies. Take special care in loading and unloading materials and equipment to ensure safety.
Other Responsibilities
- Perform additional tasks as required to support the accounting department and the organization.
Qualifications
- Valid professional driver’s license with a clean driving record.
- Minimum of 3 years of experience in a similar role, with familiarity in handling official documents and transactions.
- Strong organizational skills with the ability to manage multiple tasks.
- Physical ability to perform tasks that may require lifting and movement.
- Excellent communication skills and the ability to follow detailed instructions.
- Flexibility to work varying schedules and perform additional duties as assigned by the management.
