Freelance Payroll Specialist

We are looking for an experienced Payroll Specialist to handle our payroll process twice a month. You will be responsible for verifying attendance, calculating salaries, taxes, and government benefits, and generating reports. Most tasks are automated in Excel, but a solid understanding of payroll processes is required.

Key Responsibilities:


Verify attendance by comparing Biometric extracts with manual logs.

Process leave requests, absences, overtime, and late penalties.

Use our Excel file to calculate payroll for the 1st-15th (paid on the 25th) and 16th-31st (paid on the 10th).

Compute Withholding Taxes and government benefits (SSS, Pagibig, Philhealth) during the second payroll.

Generate and submit required payroll reports:

Payroll overview report.

Import file for Online Banking (BPI).

Individual pay slips for employees.

Reports for government websites (SSS, Pagibig, Philhealth) or manual encoding.

Requirements:


Minimum 2 years of payroll experience.

Experience with SSS, Pagibig, and Philhealth computations.

Strong Excel skills.

Attention to detail and accuracy.

Familiarity with attendance verification and payroll automation is a plus.
