The General Manager is responsible for the effective management and coordination of all company departments, including Operations, Sales, Marketing, HR, Accounting, and Finance. This role requires a strategic thinker with strong management skills to optimize processes and ensure alignment with the company’s goals. The General Manager will drive operational excellence and efficiency across the entire organization.

Core Responsibilities

  1. Comprehensive Operational Oversight

    • Supervise and ensure seamless integration across all departments: operations, sales, marketing, HR, accounting, and finance.
    • Develop and implement comprehensive strategies to enhance inter-departmental cooperation and efficiency.
    • Review and optimize departmental workflows and processes to ensure alignment with the company’s overall objectives.
    • Provide regular comprehensive reports to the Board of Directors on departmental performance and strategic milestones.
  2. Leadership and Team Development

    • Lead and mentor department heads to foster a culture of collaboration and accountability.
    • Oversee the recruitment, training, and professional development of staff across all departments.
    • Conduct performance evaluations across departments, setting departmental and individual employee goals in alignment with company objectives.
  3. Strategic Planning and Resource Management

    • Formulate and execute strategic plans that support the company’s long-term goals across all key business areas.
    • Manage company resources to maximize efficiency and budget adherence, ensuring optimal allocation across projects and departments.
    • Develop and monitor key performance indicators for each department, implementing corrective measures when necessary.
  4. Financial Oversight and Compliance

    • Oversee the financial management of the company, including budgeting, forecasting, and financial planning.
    • Ensure compliance with local rules and regulations, maintaining legal and ethical standards across all business practices.
    • Authorize operational expenditures and financial decisions within budgetary constraints, providing strategic financial input to the Board.
  5. Client and Stakeholder Relations

    • Act as a primary liaison for major clients and stakeholders, ensuring that client and stakeholder relationships are managed effectively across all touchpoints.
    • Lead negotiations and manage contracts to align with strategic business goals.
    • Enhance the company’s reputation and service delivery by maintaining high standards of operational excellence and customer service.

Other Responsibilities

  • Perform additional tasks as required to support each department and the organization.

Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s degree in business administration, Management, or a related field. An Engineering background is a plus.
  • At least 5 years of senior management experience overseeing multiple departments.
  • Strong leadership and organizational skills with a proven track record in strategic planning and team management.
  • Exceptional communication and interpersonal skills to effectively manage diverse teams and client relationships.
  • High proficiency in financial management, regulatory compliance, and operational optimization.
  • Availability to travel as needed to oversee operations and meet with clients and stakeholders.
  • Professional management or leadership training is preferred.
  • Strong leadership and personnel management skills.
  • Excellent communication and negotiation skills.
  • Critical thinking and problem-solving skills.
  • Knowledge of the construction industry is a plus.
