We are seeking a dedicated and proactive HR Manager to join our team. As an HR Manager, you will play a crucial role in managing various HR functions, including talent acquisition, employee onboarding, payroll processing, and employee engagement. This role demands strong organizational skills, excellent communication abilities, and a deep understanding of HR principles to foster a positive and productive work environment.
Core Responsibilities
1. Talent Acquisition
- Conduct pre-screening interviews and coordinate with candidates throughout the interview process.
- Create and review job descriptions for current and future openings.
- Utilize social media, job boards, and professional networks to attract applicants.
- Facilitate the offer process by extending the offer and negotiating employment terms.
- Manage Odoo recruitment databases and applicant tracking systems.
- Attend job fairs and recruitment events to source potential candidates.
- Ensure compliance with company policies and regulations during the recruitment process.
- Maintain records of all recruitment activities and candidate evaluations.
- Develop and maintain a talent pool by engaging with previous candidates for future opportunities.
2. Attendance and Payroll
- Monitor attendance and leave, and manage end-to-end payroll processing using Excel and Odoo, ensuring accuracy and timeliness.
- Address and resolve payroll discrepancies and employee queries.
- Maintain accurate records and prepare reports for payroll and taxes (PhilHealth, SSS, Pag-ibig).
- Coordinate with finance and management for any adjustments and updates to payroll data.
- Handle confidential information and documents with discretion.
- Provide support for internal and external audits related to payroll.
- Make summary report of all Payroll for Accounting.
3. Employee Onboarding and Integration
- Design and implement an effective onboarding program for new hires.
- Assist in integrating new hires into the company culture and work environment.
- Facilitate the completion of all necessary paperwork and administrative tasks for new hires.
- Schedule and conduct orientation sessions for new employees.
- Design and implement an effective regularization program for probationary employees.
4. Employee Satisfaction and Engagement
- Oversee quarterly and yearly employee evaluation.
- Analyze employee feedback and data to identify areas for improvement.
- Facilitate communication between employees and management.
- Support the planning and organization of employee events and activities.
- Assist in conducting exit interviews and implementing feedback.
5. HR Administration and Compliance
- Perform HR-related administrative tasks as required.
- Update and maintain HR databases with employee information.
- Prepare and update employment records related to hiring, transferring, promoting, and terminating.
- Explain and provide information on employee benefits and programs.
- Process documentation and reports concerning personnel activities (staffing, recruitment, training, grievances, performance evaluations etc).
- Regular updates on Philippine labor laws and regulations to ensure compliance and mitigate legal risks.
- Always ensure confidentiality of all HR documents and sensitive information.
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in human resources, Psychology, Business Administration, or related field.
- Minimum of 3 years' experience as an HR Officer or similar role.
- Familiarity with Philippine labor laws and employment regulations.
- Experience with HR software, including Applicant Tracking Systems (ATS) and payroll management tools, particularly proficiency in Odoo.
- Microsoft Office Suite.
- Strong interpersonal and communication skills.
- Excellent organizational and time-management skills.
- Ability to handle data with confidentiality.
- Detail-oriented approach with the ability to work under pressure and meet deadlines.
