Hiring: Senior Estimator – Iloilo City

The Senior Estimator leads the preparation and finalization of construction cost estimates used for bidding and proposal submissions. The role ensures quantity take-off accuracy, validated pricing and productivity assumptions, and complete documentation that supports a clear basis of estimate.

Core Responsibilities

  • Lead preparation of detailed estimates based on plans, specifications, and tender requirements

  • Review take-off outputs for completeness, accuracy, and revision alignment

  • Use AutoCAD to verify quantities and resolve measurement gaps from drawings

  • Validate supplier pricing and build unit rate analyses (materials, labor, equipment, indirects)

  • Maintain and update productivity rate references used for estimating assumptions

  • Prepare BOQ and estimate summaries suitable for internal review and submission

  • Document assumptions, inclusions/exclusions, and clarifications for controlled revisions

  • Identify key cost drivers and estimate risks that may affect bid performance

Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s degree in Civil Engineering, Construction Management, or related field

  • Relevant experience in construction estimating and BOQ preparation

  • Strong ability to read and interpret plans and specifications

  • Proficient in AutoCAD and advanced in MS Excel

  • Strong understanding of productivity rates and unit production concepts

  • Estimating tools familiarity is an advantage but not required

  • Google SketchUp familiarity is an advantage but not required
